David Mitchell and his family started selling quality Native American silver jewelry at over 32 street fairs and craft shows a year. Over twenty years later, David accomplished one of his life's goals and opened Mitchell's Silver & Turquoise in a small store on Main Street in Porterville in September of 1997. Two years later, as his clientele and inventory grew, he moved to a somewhat larger store down the street and added yet more inventory.

He has since kept right on growing and now Mitchell's Jewelers resides in a much larger store at 200 North Main Street in Porterville (formerly Bob Fields Jewelers).

He has added many more items and lines of jewelry including gold, diamonds and colored gemstones as well as a wonderful selection of wedding sets. He still carries Native American Jewelry and Artifacts along with Kachina Dolls and Pottery.

If you cannot find what you are looking for, he does custom work in gold and silver to make that unique, one of a kind piece that you want. Jewelry repairs are done on site utilizing a lazer welder.
