I love a yorkie in full coat and wearing pretty clothes. Unfortunately the two don't go well together, long hair does mat if left under clothing very long.

In talking with yorkie exhibitors I became educated in how to protect a show coat. Sometimes a yorkie will wear a garment made of silk or satin and this helps prevent the hair matting. With this in mind I began to incorporate silk and satin in my dress designs.

Most all of my dresses are lined with silk or satin of a co-ordinating color to the prints I've used. This way you have the best of both worlds, a pretty print garment with silk or satin lining to protect those coats.

Even if you have a dog breed that doesn't typically have long hair, you would still love these dresses. My silk or satin lined designs are so very soft and comfortable they won't irritate your pooches skin or damage short hair.
