We are Kathy and Terry Swinford, owners of the Curiousity Shop.We purchased the shop about three years ago and it has been a wonderful experience. We have received great joy in meeting the community along with the dedicated hunters and dealers from various parts of the United States.

Nothing is more fun than to reminisce about your childhood memories and get a glimpse of the past. What makes the store is the vendors. They are always on the hunt to find the unique and unusual, one of a kind vintage items that are hard to find. Along with them are some great minds that put together some of their own creations.

The Curiosity Shop is primarily Antiques and Collectibles but we also have a great selection of gifts, candles, hand made aprons and shabby chic furniture as well as vintage linens and accessories. There are approximately thirty vendors in the shop, each with their very own individual style and merchandise.

The Curiousity Shop will appeal to the oldest individual while still giving the young at heart a shopping outlet. Would you like to walk down memory lane, remembering your favorite toy in the whole world? We just may have it! Come browse our toy corner to see if you can find it.

We have one of the best kept secrets in Porterville. "Fenton" glass, old and new with a large selection to choose from and absolutely great prices.
