Hi. I am Cathy Souza... the owner of Paws 'n Claws. I have been grooming pets for thirty five years and have owned Paws 'n Claws for sixteen years.

I have forever had a love for animals. As a child, I would bring home every one I could find. I had planned to be a vet assistant but life happened and my direction changed. I started my business in Visalia in my garage in the early eighties. I groomed part time and worked another job as well.

I moved to the Porterville area with my two daughters in 1992 and began grooming at a vet hospital. I left that job to start my own business. Although this was a scary step for me as a divorced/single mother of two girls, with a lot of hard work and help from the Lord, I now have a very successful business. I love my four legged kids (as I call them) and am blessed with wonderful customers.
